Innisfree’s Apple Seed Cleansing Oil

Hello my beautiful angels!!!!

I was so happy when I saw one of the best Korean skincare brand in India i.e.“INNISFREE”. So, without a second thought, I bought their all-time best seller product first, Super volcanic pore clay mask. But along with that I also bought their sheet masks, Rice sleeping mask, and Apple Seed Cleansing Oil.

So, before directly going to product review here is some information about the brand. Innisfree is Korea’s first Natural beauty brand launched in 2000. Their products are filled with all natural ingredients, to create healthy beauty. Find more information on http://www.innisfree.com/in/en/BrandPage.do?pageName=brand_concept

First, lets talk a lil about oil cleansing methods….

Oil cleansing methods are becoming popular nowadays and it is also one of my personal method to follow. I’ve been suffering from hyperpigmentation, dry to combination skin problem, I have sensitive skin too and because of all these problems I was not confident about my skin so started hiding it behind lots makeup. But hiding problems is not the solution. Although there are many different things are helping me, changing my cleansing techniques, specifically adding oil cleansing method to my skincare routine made a huge difference on my skin. ( I am still trying different skincare methods). I have been following this method for months and overall texture and appearance of my skin has greatly improved.

When you use oil as the first step of your cleaning regime, it helps you to dissolve everything right from the dirt, makeup, sunscreen and also gives your face a relaxing aromatic massage.  Oil helps to melt down most stubborn waterproof makeups. It also nourishes, moisturizes and make your skin feel clean and refreshed.

Now, let’s get straight to the point, Innisfree’s Apple Seed Cleansing Oil. Until the time I bought this product, I was using Clinique’s Take The Day off Cleansing Balm. Since it is bit expensive, I thought I would give a try to another cleansing oil. So when I entered Innisfree shop, I decided to buy their cleansing oil.

What is it?

  • Innisfree’s apple seed cleansing oil is an apple extract and apple seed oil (along with other ingredients, it also has coconut oil, orchid extract and camellia extract) which makes skin clean and clear. Also melts down all the makeup, sunscreen and dirt. It should be massaged evenly on dry skin and then rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Price and Quantity- INR 1000 for 150 ml (pretty affordable than Clinique’s Take The Day off Cleansing Balm :P)

I am not gonna talk about what Innisfree website or product description claims what the product is and what it does. I am trying to give you 100% honest reviews of the product which I personally used. So, I am gonna talk about my personal experience with the product.

My Experience with Innisfree’s Apple Seed Cleansing Oil :

It has been a month I am using this product.  Appearance wise I literally like the product as they have made the packaging considering all the required parameters. It comes in a very cute green transparent pump dispenser bottle, which makes it hygienic and allows you to control the usage of the product so that you don’t end up wasting it. Also, it has a stopper for the pump so that you can easily carry with you while traveling.

It is not too thick, not too runny. Moderate. So, for me, one pump is enough to cover all over my face if I am wearing very light makeup. It has bit strong smell. It’s like sweet fruity with something lil sour kind, can’t guess it exactly. I am not a fan of fruity fragrances, but I like the smell of it as it is refreshing. I won’t recommend this product to people who prefer fragrance-free products.

So, I applied evenly all over my face and work it into my skin gently using fingertips, ensuring that every part of my face is covered. As I mentioned earlier, I take this time to give myself a lil bit face massage and leave it on for few minutes for unclogging pores.  I really like the product as it does remove makeup and dirt and leave your skin completely refreshed. Another thing I experienced is, after washing off it brightens my skin. Skin kinda glows. ( don’t know other users experienced the same or not). The best part is, it does not dry out my skin. and also didn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

I won’t recommend it to remove heavy makeups like waterproof makeup products, as it won’t remove it completely. But Anyways, the product doesn’t claim to remove waterproof makeups, so I am not at all disappointed.

So my final say is…..Without hesitation, you should try this product. I think it suits all skin types because it doesn’t wash off natural oils off of your face and would highly recommend this to anyone who has acne issues and sensitive skin problem.

I am extremely happy with the product and will continue using it as an everyday oil cleanser for my night skincare routine for removing light makeup, dirt, and sunscreen.

IT IS A MUST BUY PRODUCT!!!!
